What with the snow this week in the North of England and the “Petrol Strike” that hasn’t happened, the last ten days have been hard for hotels to predict how bookings for Easter were looking. Normally when Easter falls in April the hotels fill very well for the Weekend (there always seems to be lots of availability for the Easter Monday) however this year has been very last minute with bookings coming in. Right now on Good Friday we at Recommended Hotels can still see some availability in The Lakes, which is very unusual, Inverness and Edinburgh look busy whist Wales seems very hit and miss as to which hotels have filled and which haven’t. Overall we don’t see Easter as being as busy as the last two years and there are some very good deals still to be had.
